Anxo’s second Cd is an experimental masterpiece featuring acoustic instruments and a fantastic production. Beautiful melodies where the gaïta and the fiddle form the fundamental new sound of the contemporary music scene.
Anxo Lorenzo can be seen as one of the new top artists who see no borders between traditional and contemporary music. On top of that he has the skills to melt different musical styles into fresh and powerful melodies. He combines the sound of the Galician gaïta with a broad array of alternative music styles such as rock, pop, jazz, flamenco, chill-out, hip hop, electronic, …
In his hands the gaïta becomes an avant-garde instrument without loosing his Celtic roots.
